What you type into the builders
The prompt builders run entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. The text you enter is not transmitted to this website's server, to an AI provider, or to anyone else. No AI model is called from this site.
Local storage in your browser
To save you retyping, each builder stores your latest inputs in your browser's localStorage on your own device. This data never leaves your device and is not readable by us. You can remove it at any time with the Clear button on each builder, or by clearing site data in your browser settings. If your browser blocks storage, the builders still work; they just will not remember your inputs.
Cookies and advertising
This site sets no cookies, shows no ads, and loads no fonts, scripts or images from third parties. The only script loaded from outside promptslaunchpad.com is the statistics script from our own analytics server described below.
Visitor statistics
To see which builders are useful, we count visits with Umami, an open-source, privacy-friendly analytics tool. It is self-hosted on our own server (stats.195-201-86-88.sslip.io), so no data is passed to Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics provider.
When a page loads, a small script sends the page address and title, the referring page, your browser, operating system and device type, screen size and language. The server derives your approximate location (country, and region or city where available) from your IP address. Your IP address itself is not stored: it is only used, together with your browser's user agent and a secret salt that is replaced at least once a month, to calculate an anonymised identifier so that visits can be counted without identifying you.
The statistics script sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not track you across other websites. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, no statistics are sent at all. The data is used only for aggregate statistics such as page views and visitor numbers; it is not used for advertising or profiling, not combined with other data and not shared or sold. What you type into the builders and the prompts they create are never sent to the statistics server.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the web server that delivers these pages may record standard technical request data, such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and referring page, in log files. These logs are used only to operate and secure the site, are not used to build profiles or shared for marketing, and are deleted automatically after 14 days.
When you use an AI tool
Some builders offer Open in ChatGPT or Open in Claude links. These are ordinary links: when you click one, your browser opens that service with the current prompt included in the web address, so the prompt is sent to that service (and may appear in your browser history). Nothing is sent unless you click. If you prefer, use the Copy button and paste the prompt yourself.
When you copy a prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney or another service, that service's own privacy policy applies. Check it before pasting personal or confidential information, and follow your organisation's rules on AI tools.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
